Ami and Jacob had a small and intimate wedding that made photographing this wedding so personable. We first met for an engagement session. They drove up from Florida to north Georgia for me to photograph their engagement session. Their engagment session was in the winter with a mountain view but the red North Georgia clay was interesting for them. This wedding was in North Georgia located at the beautiful Summit Farm. They wanted an intimate wedding and chose not to have a bridal party. But she wanted her something old, new, borrowed, and blue. So she put her special friends and family in blue.
She left her hair long and loosed curls, can we talk about the sleeves?? Ami went with little details at this wedding. She was gorgeous!
They didn’t do a first look so he had a wonderful reaction when he saw her come down the isle. Jacob’s step brother passed away before the wedding. He would have been there but it was so precious to see his place marked as they were doing their vows. This spring wedding with the cross was a perfect time.
Many of their family’s first time to North Georgia and of course I was happy for them to love these beautiful mountains. Since they came in the winter for their engagement session, seeing the green grass and the beautiful pink flowers was something they loved to see. I love it when family members wear cowboy hats. They had a small but intimate wedding.
As they said their goodbyes, they of course needed a sparkling exit.
